Updated features to optimize performance. They use the heat pump’s runtime and outdoor weather forecast to actively adjust the auxiliary lockout temperature and keep things running efficiently.
Maximize energy savings. They help prevent overheating the home by turning off auxiliary heat before they reach the target temperature setting, so it’s only used when it’s needed.
Customize settings with Heat Pump Balance. With Heat Pump Balance, your customers can prioritize comfort, savings, or a combination of both.
Help protect the heat pump. You can adjust the compressor lockout temperature to switch to auxiliary heat when the temperature outside is too hot or too cold.
Set up heat pump controls yourself. If you prefer to customize the settings, you can turn off Heat Pump Balance and manually set the auxiliary lockout and compressor lockout temperatures.
Compatible with most heat pumps. Nest thermostats work with standard 24V controlled heat pumps.[2]
