Bell & Gossett's High-Efficiency Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (GPX) with "X" Plates newest additions to the GPX product line will include high-efficiency “X” plates for the GPX P86, P110, P45 and P55 models. Through advanced engineering, this high-efficiency technology delivers increased performance for gasketed plate and frame heat exchangers in a smaller footprint that supports heat transfer applications, such as oil cooling and more. Utilizing “X” plates can increase heat transfer thermal performance by 20%, reduce surface area by 20% and reduce material by 15%. Additionally, “X” plates will reduce operating costs and environmental impact. Standard configuration options include high-efficiency plate designations XL, XK, XM, XKXM, and XMXL, options of 304SS, 316SS, or Titanium plates, and Nitrile and EPDM gaskets.
