The Restoration Industry Association (RIA) will hold its 65th Annual Convention & Exhibition from March 23-27, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Ga. The group has issued a call for presentations from anyone who would like to speak at the event. Proposed presentations may run anywhere from 50 to 90 minutes and should relate to environmental, textiles/floor coverings, property damage repair and restoration, or business issues. RIA encourages all presenters to emphasize health and safety issues where possible. Presenters are encouraged to submit a 50-to-75-word overview of their session that identifies the learning objectives, offers a description of the overall value of the presentation to the audience, and details why individuals should participate in or attend the session. A short bio on the speaker should also be included. Deadline for submissions is June 8. www.restorationindustry.org
