Modular Framing Systems Offers Manufactured Products

Modular Framing Systems has expanded with a manufactured products line to help meet the growing demand for high quality custom-made finished products, the company announced.
The line of products includes opposed blade aluminum and thermal break dampers, microblade dampers (1.45” blade), backdraft dampers, and louvers—all built using the company’s unique system of aluminum extrusions.
The full sized standard and thermal break dampers feature a 4” (100mm) air foil blade matched with an internally housed nylon reinforced fiberglass gearing system that provides smooth air flow through the damper face without the worry of debris accumulation or oxidation within the gear housing.
The microblade dampers are designed with the same benefits as their larger counterpart, but the blades have been reduced to 1.45” and the casing has been reduced to a nominal 2” giving it an overall lower profile, the company says.
The backdraft dampers are assembled using the same extruded aluminum casing found in the company’s standard dampers. Internal casing hardware allows the strategically designed damper blades to shut off back flow when closed.
The louvers are made up of extruded aluminum and assembled with top quality components, the company says. The design maintains a nominal 2” space between blades designed for max air flow water drainage.
